The Australian Government is undertaking a national consultation on the promotion, protection and realisation of Human Rights in Australia. This presentation will cover:

  • The impact human rights laws can have on Victoria’s Muslim community; and

  • Writing submissions to the Government about which human rights are important to the Muslim community, whether they are sufficiently protected and promoted, and how this can be improved.

This event is organised by The Human Rights Law Resource Centre, in association with the ICV, City Circle, Muslim Legal Network and the NCEIS.
